Community Litter Pick
Thank you to those of you who volunteered for our Community Litter Pick in Westborough last month. It was great to see old friends and some new faces too. This is a great way of giving something to the community and we plan to arrange more dates, so let us know if there’s a ‘grot spot’ near you that would benefit from a Community Litter Pick.
“Many thanks for being so welcoming this morning – whilst not glamourous it was quite a lot of fun, and great to meet colleagues from the Association.
“I counted 17 heavy bags of rubbish by the end of the day as well as a discarded heater, two car batteries, a broken wooden table, a length of drainpipe, two lumps of scrap metal, a hubcap and a plastic drain cover – all of which Alastair kindly allowed us to dump in his skip.
“I look forward to being a bit more of an active member in the Association and look forward to seeing you again soon.”
