Anne Milton, Guildford’s MP and the Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills in the Department for Education, has visited Godalming College on Friday 18 May. She took a tour of the College to meet and chat to students and staff there about their experience.
Godalming College opened as a Single Academy Trust Academy on 1 January 2018. It is a co-educational academy with around 2,100 16-19-year-old students. The college was inspected by Ofsted in 2008 and judged to be ‘Outstanding’. It has been consistently oversubscribed in recent years.
Speaking ahead of the visit, Anne said: “I am so looking forward to meeting staff and students on Friday. Godalming College rightly has a very high reputation locally, doing a brilliant for many of my constituents in Cranleigh and Guildford. My grateful thanks to the fantastic team at Godalming College for organising this visit.”
