Further £80k funding for Surrey families struggling financially

Surrey County Council’s Surrey Crisis Fund have been awarded a further £80k from the Government’s Local Covid Support Grant to provide financial support to those most in need.

To date Surrey Crisis Fund has received £360,000 from the grant, in recognition of the devastating financial impact COVID has had on some of Surrey’s residents. The team have been delighted to have provided over £300,000 worth of support to some of Surrey’s most financially-in-need families.

With financial uncertainty looming large for many families as furlough tapers off and as other financial support from the Government is slowly removed, this will help.
