Following concerns over train services, particularly the lack of seats on peak services, Guildford MP Anne Milton asked South West Trains to comment on the introduction of 108 extra carriages as part of the Government’s High Output Specification Programme (HLOS).
Please see below the response from Tim Shoveller of South West Trains specifically in regards to the Guildford Line.
Anne said: “I am very pleased to hear that there will be an increase in the number of coaches (and seats!) on train services running at 6.24am, 6.31am and 9.03am. This is good news for those commuting to London, however, I will continue to push South West Trains for more! I always welcome any comments from local people who use the trains”.
