It has always intrigued me how women activists, who may become Parish Councillors or school governors progress to become national figures.
Our guest speaker, Anthea McIntyre, started as a young activist in Ross on Wye and became the youngest County Councillor in the country. She went on to be Vice Chairman of the Young Conservatives, a Vice-Chairman of the Party and Conservative Chief Whip in the European Parliament where she was our spokesman on employment, the environment and agriculture.
Anthea is ideally placed to discuss with us a whole variety of subjects including giving tips and advice about how to make the best of what we can be in politics and in the Party.
We do hope you will join us for our coffee morning. Please sign up and you will receive your complimentary Zoom coffee morning kit – and of course the Zoom access code.
Best wishes
