Guildford Conservatives have held all seats where they stood in the Surrey County Elections, held on 2nd May, with many sitting councillors being re-elected with substantially increased majorities over their opponents.
Surrey County Council remains Conservative-controlled.
Cllr Christian Holliday, Deputy Chairman (Political) of Guildford Conservatives said: "These results pay tribute to the dedication of our councillors in representing their Divisions. In Surrey, the Conservative Party bucked the national trend by actually increasing its majority at County Hall. Despite this, we take nothing for granted. Our councillors will continue to work hard representing Guildford residents at county hall over the next four years, to ensure ever increasing standards of public service provision."
