Anne Milton has run 10km for the British Heart Foundation in the first annual Guildford Lions run. The event raised over £2000 for heart charity HASTE. The race was divided into two races and started by the Olympic 100m champion Alan Wells.
Speaking about the run Anne Milton MP said: "Not the fastest but it was great fun and it’s for such a good cause! The work the BHF and HASTE do for people with heart problems is invaluable and every penny that can be raised to help their cause is fantastic. Well done to the event organisers; I’m already looking forward to next years run!"
